Article 1 – Purpose and acceptance

These Terms of Use (hereinafter "ToU") define the rules governing access to and use of the website riordesign.fr (hereinafter "the Site"), published by A Minimalist Home Ltd, an Irish company registered under number 663697, trading under the name Rior Design, with its registered office at Ground Floor, 71 Lower Baggot Street, Dublin D02 P593, Ireland (hereinafter "the Company").

Accessing and using the Site implies full and unconditional acceptance of these ToU. Any person accessing the Site is deemed to have read and accepted these ToU without reservation. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the Site.

The Company may update these ToU at any time. The applicable ToU are those in force at the time of browsing. Users are encouraged to consult them regularly.

Article 2 – Access to the site

Access to the Site is free and open to any user with an internet connection. The Company makes every effort to ensure the Site is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, the Company shall not be held liable for any interruption of service due to:

  • Technical maintenance operations or updates;
  • Failure of the internet network or the user's equipment;
  • Events beyond the Company's control (force majeure, malicious acts by third parties, etc.).

The Company reserves the right to modify, suspend, or interrupt access to the Site at any time and without prior notice, in particular for technical or maintenance reasons, without this giving rise to any right to compensation.

Article 3 – Account creation

Certain features of the Site may require the creation of a user account. When creating an account, the user agrees to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information;
  • Not impersonate any third party;
  • Keep their login credentials (email and password) strictly confidential;
  • Notify the Company immediately of any unauthorised use of their account at info@riordesign.com.

The user is solely responsible for the use of their account and any activity arising from it. The Company shall not be held liable for any damage resulting from unauthorised use of a user's account.

The Company reserves the right to suspend or delete any account in the event of non-compliance with these ToU or applicable legal provisions.

Article 4 – Prohibited conduct

When using the Site, the following are strictly prohibited:

  • Using the Site for unlawful, fraudulent, or improper purposes;
  • Attempting to gain unauthorised access to the Company's computer systems or those of third parties;
  • Introducing viruses, trojans, or any other malicious software that could harm the Site or its users;
  • Collecting or storing personal data relating to other users without their consent;
  • Reproducing, copying, selling, or exploiting any part of the Site without prior written authorisation from the Company;
  • Using robots, scrapers, or any other automated tool to extract data from the Site;
  • Damaging the image, reputation, or interests of the Company or third parties.

Any breach of these rules may result in immediate suspension of access to the Site and, where applicable, legal proceedings.

Article 5 – Site content and intellectual property

All content on the Site (texts, images, photographs, videos, designs, logos, product descriptions and any other elements) is the exclusive property of the Company or its partners and is protected by applicable intellectual property law.

Any reproduction, representation, modification, distribution, or exploitation, in whole or in part, of this content without the prior written authorisation of the Company is strictly prohibited and may constitute an infringement giving rise to civil and criminal liability.

The Company grants the user a personal, non-exclusive, and non-transferable right of access to the Site, for strictly private and non-commercial purposes.

Article 6 – Reviews and user-generated content

Users may be invited to publish reviews on purchased products. By publishing a review, the user warrants that the content is genuine, personal, based on a real experience, and does not infringe the rights of any third party.

The following content is prohibited:

  • False, misleading, or defamatory content;
  • Offensive, discriminatory, obscene, or unlawful content;
  • Content containing personal data of third parties without their consent;
  • Advertising or promotional content for third parties.

The Company reserves the right to moderate, edit, or remove any review or content that does not comply with these rules, without prior notice and without obligation to provide reasons. By publishing a review, the user grants the Company a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use that content for communication and promotional purposes.

Article 7 – Hyperlinks

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for information purposes only. The Company exercises no control over these sites and accepts no responsibility for their content, availability, or privacy practices. Access to third-party sites is at the user's sole risk.

Any hyperlink pointing to the Site must be subject to prior written authorisation from the Company. For any request, please contact info@riordesign.com.

Article 8 – Liability of the Company

The Company endeavours to ensure the accuracy and currency of the information published on the Site. However, it does not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or error-free nature of the information published, and reserves the right to correct it at any time without prior notice.

The Company shall not be held liable for:

  • Direct or indirect damage resulting from the use of, or inability to use, the Site;
  • Temporary or permanent interruption of the Site;
  • Fraudulent use by third parties of information provided on the Site.

These limitations do not apply where applicable law prohibits such exclusion of liability, in particular with regard to consumers.

Article 9 – Personal data and cookies

The collection and processing of users' personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, available on the Site. The cookies used on the Site are described in our Cookie Policy, also available on the Site.

By browsing the Site, the user consents to the use of cookies strictly necessary for the proper functioning of the Site. For non-essential cookies, consent is collected via the cookie management banner displayed on the first visit.

Article 10 – Applicable law and disputes

These ToU are governed by Irish law, subject to the mandatory provisions of EU consumer law applicable to consumers residing in the European Union.

In the event of a dispute relating to the use of the Site, the user is invited to contact the Company in the first instance at info@riordesign.com. In the absence of an amicable resolution, any dispute may be brought before the competent courts, the user retaining the right to bring proceedings before the courts of their place of domicile.
